Think about all the times
Think about all the times . . .
. . . in the last several months when you left a tip for good service at a restaurant, barbershop, salon, or your favorite coffee house.
There is a policy of no tipping at Covenant Village to ensure equal delivery of services to all residents. In addition, there are many “behind the scenes” employees who would not be rewarded for their important contributions if tipping were to be allowed.
That is why the Employee Appreciation Fund was established by residents of Covenant Village almost 30 years ago. This resident-led initiative from October through December provides the opportunity for residents and their families to say “thank you” in a tangible way to employees. Money donated to the Fund is distributed equitably among staff just in time for Christmas based on length of service and time worked during the previous year.
A Season of Gratitude is underway at Covenant Village!
Last year, more than 80 percent of all Covenant Village residents donated to the Employee Appreciation Fund for a total of $79,415. Residents have set two goals for 2024: Exceed both the percentage of residents giving and the amount raised.
October 11 through December 11
Checks can be made out to Covenant Village, with “Employee Appreciation Fund 2024” in the memo line. You can take your check to the business office at Covenant Village or mail it to:
