at Covenant Village
“Covenant Village is encouraging us to keep looking forward as we grow older the way we should. We are lucky to be here.”
After visiting several communities in both Carolinas, Mel and Stephanie Parent agreed that Covenant Village “scored” highest in all the right areas. They loved the Wellness Center and fitness programs. They value community engagement and volunteering, so they appreciate the support and encouragement to remain active in the local community.
“That’s what is different about Covenant Village. No one is waiting for the end to arrive. No one lives in isolation. There is choice and freedom to be as involved and active as you choose to be.”
Sarah Wentz wondered about moving to Covenant Village early. At the time, she was 68, and her husband, David, was 72. They are confident they made the right move at the right time. As she and David pursue active lifestyles, she counsels others to make a move as soon as possible. They frequently socialize with their cottage cul-de-sac neighbors, serve on committees, and remain active in the church. Both are regulars at the Wellness Center, and David never misses an opportunity to golf.
“Over the years, we’ve had so many friends move to Covenant Village. Its reputation exceeds itself. It has a strong foundation built on sound principles and the best practices.”
Dr. Carlos Vargas and his wife, Willma, value the sound principles and a strong reputation of Covenant Village. They enjoy meeting new friends by sharing family histories and exchanging stories. The helpfulness of everyone in this strong and caring community has made a strong impression, “People know us and call us by our names, and everyone is helpful.
“I like knowing that when the time comes, Rick and I will be well cared for. We can enjoy our children and be fully present as a family to treasure every moment together, without worry.”
After caring for their aging parents, Glenda and Rick Gaddis wanted a different experience for their children. Life at Covenant Village frees them from worry and enables them to enjoy their children and be present for family, including caring for their young grandson, Nolan, who feels right at home laughing and playing on campus. Glenda now has time to exercise, attend regular chapel services and replenish energy for where she chooses to focus it – on her family.
