Resuming Many Group Gatherings and a COVID Update

As we work our way through the current COVID chapter, we continue to monitor and measure our action steps. The Leadership Team is pleased to report to you that we will resume a number of Group Gathering opportunities, particularly those that are led by or sponsored by outside groups.

Based on the continued, high positivity rate for COVID in our county, we look to open back up strategically Activities and Wellness classes in a measured approach starting Friday, February 11, 2022. Please see the internal TV Channel and Wellzesta for specific details on these events and classes.

This opening up of group gatherings does not pertain to the Health Center. The Health Center will continue its daily operations with a restriction on gatherings.

Examples of opportunities we are resuming are: Friday Chapel Services in the Main Assembly Room; Arts & Craft Classes; Book Clubs; Garden Clubs; History Class; and Women’s Circle meetings. We will slowly resume group trips off campus, starting with shopping trips.

COVID-19 Update

This morning we have only four (4) active COVID cases. Three cases are Staff, and one case is a Health Center (HC) Resident.

This is our first HC Resident case since September 20, 2021. The Resident is doing well and is in quarantine.

Everyone should continue to physically distance and wear masks when out. Please continue to monitor yourself and any symptoms. Do not hesitate to call the Arbor Wing Nurses Station (704.917.7857) with any concerns or questions.
